Mobile Crisis Stabilization

If you or someone you know is in a crisis and in need of psychiatric help or assessment to determine if hospitalization is needed Henderson Behavioral Health offers a FREE mobile unit that can come to you. If this is an emergency, please call 911 FIRST.

Each school should have at least 1 mental health professional. This may include a social worker, school counselor, and/or a family therapist. If they do not have availability for counseling they should be able to provide you appropriate resources or a referral.

Free grief support groups for children ages 3 years old through high school and their caregivers. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is available for those struggling with an array of mental health challenges including trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression.

DCF accepts reports 24 hours a day and 7 days a week of known or suspected child abuse, neglect, or abandonment and reports of known or suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a vulnerable adult. Reports are required by Florida Law; including school personal and therapists.​​​

Centers offer temporary emergency shelter, advocacy, and crisis intervention services to provide victims with the resources necessary to be safe and live free of violence.​​​

Advocacy, support and counseling services for women and their children experiencing domestic violence. Support includes: shelter, therapy, pet shelter, legal protection, education and prevention. Click here for tips to stay safe.
